Service Requests is a system that manages the process of interdepartmental or constituent request for services while providing important operating statistics on types of services, service resolution times and resources dedicated to service management. Service Requests provides improved operational efficiency, better management information and improves constituent relationships. A Service Requests begins with a request for service. The service is cataloged by the type of activity and automatically routed to a department and individual. From there, the additional notes and information may be added by the individual responsible for the problem. Additional tasks can also be added that list needed resources to correct the problem. The resources can be used to develop a project estimate by assigning different manpower, equipment or contractors to the request to calculate a project cost. All of this information is maintained on the service request and is available historically through extensive inquiries and reports. Service Requests that directly relate to a property are also integrated with the Land Database record for this property. |
