Permits and Code Compliance is a system to track and manage all permit information, schedule and track project approvals, record zoning hearing decisions, schedule inspections with results tracking, and manage the contractors doing business in the municipality. All permit types can be defined to the system along with their unique data collection requirements. All fees associated with permits, inspections and certificate of occupancies are also calculated by the system assuring a consistent approach to fee schedules. All permit forms can be defined and set up by permit type, speeding creation and assuring consistency. Permits can be linked to multiple permit sets enabling a master building permit to be linked with any associated electrical or plumbing permits associated with the construction. Permits may also be set up to automatically be renewed on a periodic basis, making them ideal for items such as rental permits that need to be renewed periodically.

All permit information, approval and inspection information are automatically integrated with the Land Database. The Land Database serves as a repository of information regarding parcel data in the municipality. When other Freedom Products are used, the Land Database becomes and enterprise resource for information about Real Estate Taxes, Service Requests and Permits. This same information is also available with Mapping Management. The Permits and Code Compliance System is also fully integrated with Financial Management for recording the financial transactions associated with the Permit Process.
